Entity #021 - The Slacker
Description
Around 2012, a deprecated script was found in an unknown folder within the 2012 Egg Hunt game. The script was named the “NPC Adaptation Module”, and from reported notes inside the script it had been created for “Making more lifelike and realistic NPCs”.
A hacker (who wishes to remain anonymous) at the time who had found the script while digging in the games files, had been very interested in the script. After several tests, morbid curiosity had filled him with the script's bizarre behaviors. In an attempt to preserve it before they were banned, one of the last things they did was hide the script away in a blue zombie model, before sharing it on the toolbox.
Around June of the same year, two months after the Egg Hunt had ended. A user known as ██████████ had found the blue zombie model, deciding to use it in their game. Before watching as it had, in their words “Began to twist and turn like clay. Its body changing and churning to fit its new mold.”. Placing it in their game had caused any other attempts to place the model in a separate game to prove unsuccessful, even for other users. And attempting to duplicate the model proved to fail as well. As the user published their game, their account was immediately terminated. And any records of their games were completely wiped from the platform.
Due to the singular instance of Entity #021 being in the now deleted game. In an attempt at self-preservation, it is theorized Entity #021 somehow removed itself from the game. Returning it to the toolbox. Hiding itself as the same blue zombie. Information after this point becomes scarce. Entity #021 had gained the ability to jump between games, manifesting its body into these various games. Witnesses reported no apparent signs as to when Entity #021 would show up in a game. Showing up without warning and at complete random.
Only one witness of the Entity managed to face it directly head-on. After the event, the witness’s account had been left corrupted. Leaving a singular image on the Rotting corpse of the profile.
The lone image of Entity #021, nicknamed “The Slacker” by TREA staff.
This is the sole documented image of Entity #021. After the confrontation with the witness, Entity #021 went into hiding afterward. Giving reason as to its most popular nickname, “Slacker”. Originally made by one Researcher ██████████, due to it, in their words “slacking off”. Other investigators began using this nickname more commonly, until it was agreed to make Entity #021s surname “Slacker”. No sightings or information were seen between late 2012 and early 2014. Although “Slacker” briefly resurfaced in late 2014, long enough for more information about it to be noted it was a brief blip of activity.
Entity #021 when entering a game, will manifest itself in dark areas of maps. And is more likely to manifest within games with users who had previously encountered it. The Entity is very fast, making recording good footage or taking good screenshots a difficult feat without the use of bait or freezing it in place. Entity #021 is reportedly extremely strong. Able to punch holes into walls and tear Robloxian characters in half. Though it is still bound by the limitations of whatever game it finds itself in. The usage of gears that revive players seem to directly counter it, making it easier to test Entity #021 and its capabilities. Without as much pressure.
Witness Testimonies
Multiple witnesses have given us notes on Entity #021 we have yet to find a proper place to mention within the document. And thus we have decided to place it at the end of this log.
- GAB3N456 (the first witness of Entity #021) had gone on record stating that “Slacker” was one of his most interesting discoveries yet. He said he hoped to interview the Slacker. That was until an incident relating to him and a good friend of his, alienal3x.
- ████████ had found Entity #021 whilst playing a horror game with a couple friends of theirs. Reported that the Entity would “stalk them, trying to find where they were hiding”. It had apparently killed the monster that was the intended horror aspect of the game, causing ████████ and their friends to quickly leave the server at the sight of this.
- ███████ was the player to face the Entity directly, they had been in a fighting game at the time so they thought the Entity was some kind of boss. Rushing at it before landing several strikes against it. Quickly enraging Entity #021, causing it to lash out and attack ███████, quickly killing them. After they had been killed, their account had been terminated. Leaving the sole image of the Slacker behind.
