Entity #031 - Station Thirty-One
Description
Entity #031 (also known as Station Thirty-One, Station.31 or “Healing Potion”) is an offsale gear published by the official ROBLOX account during 2019 with no genre nor description.
Originally, #031 took the appearance of a simple grey part. On 1/25/20 (MM/DD/YY), several things changed about the store page and the appearance itself. #031 was now titled “Healing Potion”, took the appearance of a grey bottle, and had an updated description & ID. All of these factors would lead one to simply assume this was a completely different gear, but all links that previously led to the store page and any other method instead redirected to this apparently new one.
#031 was then on sale continually until exactly 100 people bought it, as evidenced by victim reports and website scripts that were discovered, before being reverted back to its original state.
Users who had bought #031 would not experience its effects until joining a game, wherein the anomalous effects would start. When joining the game #031 restricts the users ability to leave the game, somehow even disabling the Alt + F4 function. It is of note that all servers that victims would join were also inhabited by accounts affiliated with ROBLOX.
#031 would then cause the players’ avatars to seemingly match any real-life movements they would make, whilst apparently causing intense pain to victims. During this, the victims’ avatars would also begin to deteriorate, losing their textures and their meshes becoming simple grey parts, much like the original #031 gear. These changes would permanently affect their avatars, with currently no known way to revert this.
Victims of #031 would usually begin to experience symptoms of paralysis at this point, before dying due to loss of organ function. Most survivors of #031 have found two things in common: either they lack a webcam, or their device is low quality, (sometimes both). After this, the in-game character has a chance to start making in-game chats without input. It is believed that the #031 gear itself is using the chat system to talk. Most of what it says falls along the lines of “Why was I made?” and “I never wanted this.”
Whilst investigating this entity, RA Staff received an email that was seemingly sent in by a former official developer of ROBLOX. The email in question has been recreated down below.

Subject: I have some info about the recent incident regarding Station Thirty-One.
Please excuse me for any mistakes or inconsistencies i will make in this email, im typing this in a rush. i was the lead developer for what would end up basically being our VR compatibility system, in around 2015, i think? Rough year for us. Here’s some proof of my employment: [the developer puts several images here, showing undeniably that they were employed at ROBLOX at the time, and at the position described]
We had actually nailed down most of the VR-headset stuff, but some of the higher-ups didn’t entirely enjoy it, which caused it to be delayed until.. Whatever year it was released. I don’t keep track of the main VR stuff anymore. What they also suggested was to implement some sort of system that would reproduce VR controls for people who didn’t own headsets, by using the user’s webcam to map their movements onto their ingame avatar. It seemed really ambitious for the time, but unfortunately I was too. To most of the dev teams surprise, we were actually able to get the webcam reading done in about mid 2016, where we started to work on mapping those movements to the player’s avatar. Thats when it started acting up. We were using a placeholder item at the time to activate this system, since we were planning the feature to basically act like a purchasable gear. Someone decided to call it Station.31 for some stupid reason i cant really be bothered to remember. Anyways this guy was playtesting it and we were all watching this, and then he just started convulsing and screaming in pain. It was really disturbing for someone to just do that out of nowhere. Everyone was just frozen in place for like 20 seconds before he started screaming to block the webcam, and someone did it and he suddenly stopped. And by that point he was pretty much paralyzed from the waist down. He was pretty shaken up, but then i noticed the ingame character typing in chat, all on its own. It was typing stuff like “where am i” and stuff like that. Anyways this incident was reported to roblox and we were all expecting to get fired, and im sure most of us including me were ready to give up or quit. But then they messaged back saying to keep continuing on with development, saying that people they were working with would be very interested and that they had plenty of volunteers lining up for this. We were all just completely confused and disgusted, like how were they comfortable testing out something that paralyzes people?? Jesus christ. I read the writing on the wall and quit on the spot after that, but luckily i still had some friends on the inside who stayed around. They notified me that roblox were planning to do something with station 31 around january, and then this happened. I shouldve stopped it. I couldve stopped it.
Goodbye.
