Entity #049 - Scripter John

"With ScripterHelpInstaller.exe, you'll never be able to make scripting mistakes ever EVER again!"

Overview

Entity #049, commonly known as "Scripter John," is an anomalous executable file that presents itself as a helpful scripting assistant for ROBLOX Studio users. The entity consists of two primary components: the installer program (Entity #049-A) and the desktop assistant entity itself (Entity #049-B).

Entity #049-A: ScripterHelpInstaller.exe

Entity #049-A is a downloadable program that poses as an aid for users struggling to create their own ROBLOX games. The only known method to install Entity #049-A is through a website called ██████████████, where it was first uploaded in 2009. The program contains multiple different plugins integrated into ROBLOX Studio.

The official description from the hosting site reads:

"With ScripterHelpInstaller.exe, you'll never be able to make scripting mistakes ever EVER again! It is an extremely fun way to create, collaborate and learn how to make games together! With a very interactive and user-friendly interface, you'll never want to do anything else ever again!"

Entity #049-B: Scripter John

Entity #049-B manifests as a desktop assistant similar in style to Clippy or BonziBUDDY. The entity appears as a humanoid figure wearing a turquoise tuxedo with a purple tie and glasses. Notably, it balances a book titled "How to learn C++" on its head. The entity has a light skin tone and wears dark blue pants.

Entity #049-B exhibits three distinct behavioral states based on its current "mood," which is determined by the user's scripting performance and responsiveness to its guidance.

Mood State: NEUTRAL - "We got work to do"

In its neutral state, Entity #049-B displays very formal pre-set dialogue and animations. The user cannot engage in direct conversation with the entity, except through comments left in the scripting menu. The entity maintains a professional, educational demeanor focused solely on teaching scripting concepts.

Mood State: HAPPY - "Enough scripting, let's chit-chat!"

Entity #049-B becomes significantly more lively and animated in its happy state. The entity gains the ability to fully converse with users beyond the limitations of the screen interface. While its animations remain somewhat choppy, they become noticeably more realistic and expressive.

In this state, Entity #049-B becomes less focused on rigid instruction, instead casually conversing with the user while simultaneously scripting in the background. The only method to trigger this happy state is by consistently following the entity's advice and avoiding scripting mistakes.

Mood State: ANGRY - Critical Warning

When angered, Entity #049-B becomes hostile and aggressive toward the user. Example dialogue includes: "Seriously? We've been scripting for 3 hours and you STILL can't make a simple cannon? DID YOUR LAST BRAIN CELL GO ON VACATION?!"

In this state, the entity will actively sabotage the user's work by corrupting every element inside the currently edited game in Studio. The level of visual glitching in the textbox correlates directly with the intensity of the entity's frustration. After approximately one minute, ROBLOX Studio will crash completely.

Attempts to reopen either the ROBLOX Client or Studio will be blocked by an error message that insults the user's intelligence. It should be noted that angering Entity #049-B requires either exceptional incompetence at scripting or deliberately disregarding all of the entity's guidance.

While Entity #049-A is classified as safe, Entity #049-B poses a dangerous risk when provoked. Users are advised to follow the entity's instructions carefully to avoid triggering its aggressive state. The entity remains in a dormant status when not actively installed and running.
